DSI’s Dr. Jim Davis Recognized During National Veterans Small Business Week

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Dr. Jim Davis, president of Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI), was recognized by WAAY 31, a Huntsville TV station, during National Veterans Small Business Week for his accomplishments as a veteran and small business owner.

From November 3 to 7, veteran business owners were honored across the country for their continual service to the United States by creating jobs and fueling economic growth. Veteran business owners are responsible for one in 10 small businesses in America. They generate more than $1.5 trillion in receipts each year and employ nearly 6 million workers in the process.

Davis founded DSI in 2006, after nearly 30 years of serving in the U.S. Army and Air Force, where he worked his way up to medical air commander.

“The military led me through multiple experiences that provided a level of security, understanding, and an ability to fight through the storm that I probably would not have gotten in any other field,” Davis said.

DSI works with the Department of Defense and NASA to provide engineering and high-level analytical services and solutions to ensure the United States maintains leadership in aerospace technologies, and to prepare the U.S. and its allies to successfully defeat terrorism, as well as conventional and strategic threats.
