Health and Dental Insurance
DSI maintains group health plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield and has dental insurance plans. Full-time employees may elect individual or family coverage. DSI pays a portion of the individual and family coverage. Employees who elect to enroll in the plan(s) will be covered the first day of the month following start of employment.
Flexible Spending Account
DSI offers a Flexible Spending Account that allows for certain pre-tax benefits for otherwise non-covered health costs. Flexible Spending Accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for medical, dental, or vision expenses.
Call A Doctor Plus
DSI provides innovative new healthcare program free of charge for employees and their family. It is on-demand service, 24/7 access to the quality care you need, when you need it. Consult with a US-based, licensed doctor who can diagnose non-emergent medical conditions and prescribe medication.
Vision Care Plan
DSI provides a vision care plan (VCP) through MetLife free of charge. Employees may elect to add family coverage. Employees who elect to enroll in the plan will be covered first day of the month following start of employment.
Short Term/Long Term Disability and Life Insurance
DSI provides short and long-term disability and life insurance for all full-time employees free of charge. Employees may purchase supplemental life insurance to increase their total coverage.
DSI supports its employees’ efforts to save for their retirement by offering a 401(k) Saving Plan for convenient, tax-deferred savings through employer-provided accounts. DSI will match a percentage of employee contributions.
Paid Time Off
DSI believes that it is very beneficial to individual employees and the company that time away from work be taken for rest and relaxation. The company provides each full-time employee with Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service. PTO includes vacation and sick paid leave.
DSI offers an Educational Assistance Reimbursement program to assist employees in earning select master’s degree. Qualification for program – hard science master’s degree must be relevant to the employee’s current work.
Dependent Care Account
DSI offers Dependent Care Accounts that allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for care for children/elderly dependents that are necessary for employees (and their spouse) to work.

DSI offers a Mass Transit and Parking Account that allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for parking costs and mass transit costs.
Life Event Benefit
DSI provides this comprehensive Life Event Benefit free of charge. The benefit is designed to assist employees with meeting personal and work life challenges. Programs include health advice/guidance, financial and legal counseling referrals, and child/family services. Employees are eligible for this company paid benefit on the first of the month following their date of hire.
If an employee elects this benefit, it allows them unlimited telephone and office consolations with an attorney of their choice through MetLaw for a monthly fee.
