Description:

  • Serve as an on-site intermediate level analyst for the Missile Defense team as a Matrixed Security Specialist.  Responsible for orchestrating day to day client delivery for a matrixed security team and assisting the contract program manager/contract task lead in leading a large team of contract personnel.  Provide client interface and report to clients and contractor team leadership.  Must be capable to work in a team environment and have an understanding of complex weapon systems.

  • Assist in the identification of classified National Security Information, Restricted or Formerly Restricted Data, and militarily critical technology. 

  • Assist in the identification and handling of NATO classified and unclassified information and in the identification of information exempted from release IAW the FOIA (5 U.S.C. § 552) and application of the appropriate exemption(s) to the information. 

  • Assist in the identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) concerns, and have a deep understanding of Program Protection Planning as outlined in DoD Directives 5200.39 and 5200.44.

  • Must develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified programs and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in accordance with MDA and DoD policies.

  • Prepare manuals, standard operating procedures, fixed facility checklists outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.

  • Coordinate security education classes and security audits.

  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken for approval. 

   

Education:

BS in a related field

   

Experience Required:

  • 7 years of relevant security experience (Physical Security, Information Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, or General Security).  BA/BS or an additional 5 years of security experience.

  • Experience in a security role embedded within the arena of complex weapons systems design, fielding or deployment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent office software skills

  • Excellent competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

  • Secret clearance required.
