Job Summary: Performs a general range of office and administrative functions and a variety of administrative and business duties, such as those involving reception/phone systems, office services/policies, information technology/computers/fax/scanning, human resource support, and office housekeeping. Provides support to all personnel in a six-plus person office.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Highly organized individual with the ability to manage their work independently and incorporate taskings from a team.         Exhibits flexibility, as priorities can change.

    • Ability to coordinate multiple assignments or projects that may have competing timelines and negotiate the priority with each stakeholder.

    • Proficient in touch-typing, approximately 40wpm. Proficient in MS Office suite, especially with Excel.

    • Ability to compose emails/letters with brief instructions and communicate succinctly. Excellent at grammar/composition. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

    • Discretion in processing business sensitive records or documents.

    • Flexibility to perform duties as required in HR, IT, contracting, security clearances, proposal work, etc.

Educational Requirements

    • High School – Vocational education/training in general office skills desired.

Required Qualifications

1.      Knowledge of administrative and management concepts and practices; principles and practices of sound business communication; and correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation

2.      Reputation for being punctual, dependable, pro-active, and professional.

      3.    Desire 10+ years of experience in the administrative/office support field.

      4.     Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
