Title

DSI Position – NASA Armstrong Senior Level Safety Professional (Pressure Vessel Experience)

Experience

  

  • 6 – 15 years of Safety & Health experience to include areas of expertise in Fall Protection; Mishap Investigation; Construction Safety; Electrical Safety; Life Safety (Life Safety Code); Hazard Identification and Abatement.

  • Individual with at least 1 year experience inspecting pressure vessels IAW ASME standards

  • Familiarity with The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors standards

  • Experience understanding pressure vessel systems in conjunction with aircraft considered a plus

  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers, and senior management

  • Prior military or experience working on a military installation considered a plus but not required.

  • CSP, ASP, OSHT, STS or CET a plus but not required.

Required Education

 

BS in Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management or similar; or a minimum of equivalent safety experience.
