Description
|
Primary duty will be to analyze BMDS and BMDS Element performance in tests and exercises, identify critical issues related to differences between operational performance and requirements, and assess impact on BMDS performance, effectiveness, and Warfighter functions.
May also develop requirements documents for Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) assessment of BMDS and BMDS Elements (THAAD, Aegis BMD, PATRIOT, SBIRS, JTAGS, etc.) in flight tests, ground tests, exercises, and constructive simulations. Will participate in BMDS-related test and exercise planning working groups and provide BMDS OTA input and recommendations. Develop scenario requirements for tests and assessments.
Interface with Combatant Command (COCOM) BMDS Organizations to facilitate integration of Warfighter CONOPS in flight tests, ground tests, exercises, and constructive simulations. Coordinate with Warfighter organizations to obtain test requirements and provide feedback on test results. Provide written reports and briefings on test results. Use in-depth knowledge of BMD systems and their models and simulations to support accreditation of models and simulations used in integrated and distributed ground tests, exercises, and digital simulation-only performance assessments. Assist in the development, coordination, and publishing of BMDS OTA products such as Operational Assessment Plan, Operational Assessment Report, M&S Accreditation Plan, M&S Accreditation Report, Data Management and Analysis Plan, and Dendritic. Must work independently, with minimum guidance, using self-generated long term goals.

Education
|
B.S. in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physical Sciences; M.S. degree desired.
