Davis Strategic Innovations (DSI) Engineer Charles Wilson Awarded NASA Silver Achievement Medal

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida (August 21, 2018) – Charles Wilson, an engineer for Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI), was recently awarded the NASA Silver Achievement Medal-Individual for outstanding Safety and Mission Assurance safety engineering contributions to the Ground Systems Development and Operations Program at Kennedy Space Center.

DSI supports the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services III (SMASS III) contract that provides mission assurance, engineering, and risk assessment in the Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) disciplines at KSC and at other NASA SMA supported sites.  Mr. Wilson was honored for providing superior support to the Safety & Mission Assurance (S&MA) Ground Systems Development & Operations (GSDO) Division and the GSDO Program.  In addition to his assigned work duties, Mr. Wilson initiated and established a charter for the Cycling Club at KSC to help socialization and has volunteered assisting the KSC Garden Club in its efforts to create a new and exciting look for the Nation’s premier multi-user spaceport.
