DSI Awarded NASA Subcontract

Davis Strategic Innovations awarded subcontract for NASA Mission Operations & Integration Contract (MO&I)

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama (March 01, 2013) – Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI) is honored to be on the winning team for the five year MO&I prime contract supporting NASA’s scientific activities on the International Space Station (ISS) through the ISS Payload Operations Integration Center.

MO&I engineers support “NASA science research aboard the ISS through the integration of payloads, providing crew training activities for these payloads, developing experiment procedures and delivering real-time support to science teams from around the world.” In additions to managing “payload resources, communications with the crew, and collection of experiment data and provides 24/7 flight console operations along with the training and certification of console operators.” (Source: TBE)

The DSI’s stowage engineers provide a crucial link between the astronaut and the choreographed placement and retrieval of components needed scientific experiments conducted in the ISS.
