DSI Expanding in Washington D.C.

Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc., expanding in the Washington D.C. area

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama (March 18, 2011) – Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI), a Service-Disable, Veteran-Owned small business, teamed with SAIC to win a contract to provide support to the Headquarters U.S. Air Force Strategic Plans and Policy Division located at the Pentagon. This win will continue to increase DSI’s presence in the Washington D.C. area.

Headquarters U.S. Air Force Strategic Plans and Policy Division is the Headquarters Air Force focal point for ensuring Air Force synchronization-integration of Integrated Air and Missile Defenses. DSI’s senior-level analysts will be mainly engaged in providing support to Air Force efforts to transition and transfer and establish lead service responsibilities for Missile Defense Agency (MDA)-developed ballistic missile defense (BMD) systems and advocate and monitor development of new BMD systems focusing on Air Force core competencies. The DSI senior analysts will also be involved in providing support in other areas including coordinating the oversight of the Air Force-MDA overarching memorandum of agreement, program element monitor support for Air Force missile defense program element, Air Force support to USSTRATCOM, and subject matter expert support on current Ballistic Missile and Air Defense policy at the National, DoD, Joint, and Service level.
