DSI Teamed with Dynetics on Medical Intelligence

Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc., teamed with Dynetics to win a multi-award support contract at the National Center for Medical Intelligence 

GRANT, Alabama (July 15, 2010) – Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI), teamed with Dynetics on a proposal to win an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide support to the National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI) located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. This win will allow the team of Dynetics and DSI to respond to request for proposals (RFQs) from the NCMI blanket purchase agreement (BPA).

The NCMI produces all-source medical intelligence on foreign health threats and other medical issues to protect the United States interests worldwide. NCMI, a field production activity of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), supports a diverse customer base that includes the Department of Defense and other U.S. government and international organizations. This BPA will provide NCMI with subject matter experts and other contractor support to develop methodologies, tools, and/or models to assess health threats to U.S. interests worldwide. DSI brings experience in research and data analysis of various medical threats that includes a background in detection and forecasting infectious disease threats, assessing natural from intentional disease outbreaks, analysis of foreign medical response capabilities to CBRNE events, and advanced degrees in biological sciences.

The Dynetics team is headed by Michael R. Reed, Manager of the Signal Intelligence Branch of Dynetics’ Scientific and Technical Intelligence Department.
