DSI and CRA Enter Mentor-Protégé Agreement

Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc., and CRA, Inc., announce a DHS approved Mentor-Protégé Agreement

GRANT, Alabama (January 29, 2010) – Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. (DSI), and CRA, Inc., are proud to announce they are beginning a three year formal Mentor-Protégé Agreement. This Mentor-Protégé Agreement was reviewed and accepted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Office of Small and Disadvantage Business Utilization.

Designed to be a Win-Win opportunity for the Mentor and Protégé, the DHS Mentor-Protégé Program encourages business prime contractors to provide developmental assistance to small business subcontractors. Goals of this program include improving performance of contracts and subcontracts, establishing long-term business relationships, and developing subcontracting opportunities through an incentive program.

The CRA, Inc., team is headed by Geoff Nagler, Senior Vice President. CRA, Inc., the “Mentor,” founded in 1984 and headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, is recognized nationally as a leader in homeland security. CRA, Inc., and DSI, the “Protégé,” began a contractual association in 2006 and DSI is looking forward to expending this relationship through the Mentor-Protégé Program. When notified that DHS had approved the CRA/DSI Mentor-Protégé application Jim Davis, President, DSI, commented, “We are proud of our past work with CRA and look forward to the future; the Mentor-Protégé Agreement with CRA will help us improve our abilities to serve the Department of Homeland Security!” With the Mentor-Protégé Program scheduled to formally kick off in February 2010, DSI is excited about the possibilities for business development this program offers and receiving management guidance from the experienced CRA staff.
